arts and entertainment district. Broadway shows at the Riverfront Broward Center for
the Performing Arts, exhibits at the Museum of Art, the historic district, as well as the
Museum of Discovery and Science are all within walking distance. Tying this district
together is the Riverwalk, which extends one mile along the New River with benches
strategically placed in a tropical garden setting.

cafes, and blues, folk, jazz, reggae and rock clubs that are flourishing. Outdoor
recreational sports such as scuba diving, fishing, roller-blading, sun bathing and
boating are popular year round.
